One of the things I love about Apple is how easy they tend to make things. Apparently a LOT of people don’t like the default dock in Leopard. Lots of people are customizing the dock. Some just want the black triangles back instead of the “LED” light.Other people are changing the dock it self. From “Sky” and “Wood” to changing the color and of course the first mod, smoked dock. With a bit of Unix and Photoshop knowledge this is incredibly easy to do. But even then Candy Bar 3 is set to change the dock in addition to it’s normal job of Icon control. And if that is not enough, you can change the stack icons to be a bit more friendly to your dock. Other customizations include stationary in the Mail Application.Did Apple do this on purpose or is it just a by product of their coding process? I don’t know but I can say with some authority that people are going to continue to configure and customize their Leopard installs as much as possible. I’m just waiting for someone to release an entire Leopard Theme.
