Is it real? Is it a viral campaign? Why would Daddy buy Mommy a server when he loves her very much? How about he buy her something she’d actually want, that is unless she’s a Geek Girl.
Shuttle joins the low cost PC bandwagon by releasing a nice looking KPC box. At $199 fully loaded it competes with the “Walmart” PC, and is made by a company with a better reputation to boot. Unfortunately there are no specs yet, but we’ll no doubt see them really soon.
If you’re remotely interested in architecture and green buildings then you need to check out the 15 Greenest Buildings. Actually some of the designs are cool enough that you should check it out even if you’re not.
MacHeist II is running and going strong. I’m a bit disappointed with the applications offered this year, but if it hits the top $49 for Cha-Ching and Pixelmator will be well worth it.
I’m a big supporter of the Shareware/Freeware world. And more then anything else love finding cool applications to run on OS X. But sometimes developers of apps are bit greedy. Rerouting searches to Amazon with your Amazon affiliate ID is wrong.

945GC chipset
512MB of Ram (hopefully upgradeable to at least 1gb)
60 or 80GB Hard Drive
It looks like it may have enough room for two drives, if so I can see this becoming a cheap raid server for Video/Music Serving
