I’m sure a lot of people already know about it, but Archive.org has a LONG list of free music. It’s all in creative commons, or the licenses have expired due to their age. There is a lot of good stuff in there, but it does take some digging.
Some company called Apple just passed Walmart as the largest music retailer.
Lastly, Wired did an article about “free iPods“. I’ve always thought this was a Multi-level marketing scam, but it appears real. And people are getting free stuff.
