Bookdog from Sheep Systems is exactly the tool I’ve been looking for to synchronize bookmarks between different browsers, and different Macintosh Computers.
Pros:
Allows opening of multiple bookmark files all at once.
Allows merging of bookmark files from various browsers all at once including online bookmarks from Google and del.icio.us
Alphabetically Sorts Bookmarks
Verifies links and helps sort dead websites
Finds and helps delete duplicate book marks
Cons:
Not Freeware – 14 day free trial, $19.99 with free updates
Has not been updated since 2006
Does not grab bookmarks from Parallels
Not real intuitive to use and merge at first
Does not provide online synching to an FTP site for transfer between different locations, or home to work computer
Over all I give this program a 3.5 of 5. It’s great for a one time synch, to verify a huge number of links, or to better manage a large set of book marks.
