More PC, Mac, Linux bashing
Please tell me why we have to continue bashing every Operating System. Unfunny parodies of Apple Commercials are popping up all the time.
Before Microsoft became the corporate behemoth it is now it use to be a really innovative and interesting company. They get bashed on because they’re the big guys. It happens in every industry. The big guy always gets more then it’s fair share of complaints simply because they are the big guy. In creating a good product for everybody and trying to fulfill every niche they can, large companies can’t but help tick off somebody in the world. It’s practically a law of consumerism that people “hate” the big guy.
I’m here to say, “Quit Bashing the other OS!” Use the one that works for you, and when recommending choices to other people give them the options that will work best for them and try to avoid as much FUD as possible. Remember computers are not meant to fight wars over, they’re meant to make our lives easier and more productive.

I find the Apple parodies quite funny actually, but mainly because the original ones are so over the top.
I’m not a fanboy of any OS really, because they all suck at something. Use what suits you best and don’t pester anyone who doesn’t use your OS of choice I reckon.
Calling MS innovative is a bitch far fetched IMO though. Right now they are far more innovative than they used to be. Seriously. DOS was a very poor POSIX rip-off, and Windows 3.x… what was that? Apple and Commodore where far superior at that point, but MS just got lucky because they where backed by IBM (by accident).
By the time IBM realised it and release OS2 it was already too late and the MS empire was born.
I’ll try to bash all OS’es equally. How about that?
Equal opportunity bashing is fine. When it gets to the point of “my OS is better by then your OS” that’s when I draw the line.
But then, I’ve been in plenty of arguments like those over the years, they don’t cut it any more.
