Safari for Windows hits 1 Million Downloads
From the guys over at Macworld we get the report that 1 Million copies of Safari for Windows have been downloaded. The interesting part to me though, is that it happened in a mere two days! Statistics like this in regards to Apple are just beyond amazing in my opinion. Coupled with figures such as 10% of the laptop market, and 8% of the desktop one, the real news here is that Apple is slowing coming out on top and pushing companies like Dell out of the way.
The iPod has certainly helped Apple. While there are no hard figures, it’s virtually guaranteed the Apple is getting a lot of first Mac sales from the iPod market. What remains to be seen is will the iPhone do the same? Or will it be a flop like the iTV?
Either way, Apple is becoming the competitor all the big boys fear.
