Is there a chance that we might be able to elect a Secessionist liar into the White House?
I hope so. If the US starts to break up into smaller Nations, ones that can serve their populations needs and wants better, I believe that right now it would be for the better. The US Government has stagnated to the point that our Founding Fathers would be astounded and appalled. Perhaps this would be the catalyst that brings down the corruption in the US Government?
At a minimum, it would give each State (or region) a chance to re-identify their identity and make laws that would pertain to their particular needs and wants. Perhaps the East Coast could tell the freight trains to take a hike and build high speed passenger trains? Washington DC can re-enact the gun ban. Florida, Louisiana and all those states could close shipping lanes and get their protective swamp lands back.
Or, maybe, just maybe, someone will get elected who can actually fix the US.
