Congress is set to vote on the Bush’s $700+ Billion plan again tonight. Added to the bill were provisions to “…add tax breaks for businesses and the middle class and increase deposit insurance…”
Yahoo reports that calls in opposition to the Bill have dropped to 50-50 instead of 90% against. Hopefully House Leader Nancy Pelosi [...]

The down fall of the US economy (and thus the rest of the World’s) is being billed as the worst since the Great Depression. Some believe this may be the downfall of western civilization.
So now talks are of the US Government bailing more financial institutions out to tune of $1000 Billion or for the math-inclined-but-don’t-really-care-about-economics [...]
With the Federal Government taking the unheard of step of helping mortgage companies Freddie Mac and Fannie May it seems to me that the US Economy isn’t doing that good. Despite what Mr. Bush says.
